Automark Select Terms & Conditions.

  1. All vehicles for sale under Automark Select shall be presented to Toyota Tanzania"s authorised staff for Vehicle Inspection.
  2. Toyota Tanzania reserves the right to reject the request to market & sell a vehicle on its website for any reason whatsoever, incl. but not limited to the discovery of non-factual information on the car, significant discrepancy in the condition of the vehicle from inspection, unrealistic pricing from Seller, objection to carry out service and recondition etc.
  3. Due diligence is to be carried out before listing the vehicle. Documents required include copies of vehicle registration card, Seller ID card/Passport Copy & TRA TIN Certificate.
  4. The Seller will sign an Agency Agreement with Toyota Tanzania. The signatory must be the vehicle’s registered owner.
  5. Toyota Tanzania will carry out vehicle Inspection, pre-delivery Service and repairs/reconditioning services. Toyota Tanzania will Invoice the Seller for these costs upon completion of the Sale.
  6. The Seller shall set a Reserve Price, in consultation with Toyota Tanzania, with consideration of the vehicle inspection, mileage, and general vehicle condition.
  7. AUTOMARK will invoice the Seller a commission for the agency service on the final price at which the vehicle is sold.
  8. The Seller authorises Toyota Tanzania to collect payment from prospective buyer(s) on his/her/its behalf. Toyota Tanzania will pay into the Seller’s Nominated Bank Account (the Reserve Price, or discounted reserve price as agreed with the Seller) after deducting all costs as specified in clauses 5 and 7, within five (5) working days of receipt of the total purchase price from the Buyer and completion of the transfer of ownership.
  9. AUTOMARK shall market the vehicle on its Website for 90 days, after which the vehicle will be removed. Mileage during the advertising period shall be kept at no more than 2,000 Km from the advertised mileage. Additionally, the condition of the vehicle must be retained as it was at the time of inspection, with no alterations or additional wear and tear that would materially affect its value or functionality.
  10. The Seller cannot withdraw the vehicle from sale if a deposit has been paid or Toyota Tanzania receives any other confirmation of order from the Buyer.
  11. Subject to clause 10, if the seller wants to withdraw the vehicle from Toyota Tanzania’s AUTOMARK Website, a written notification must reach Toyota Tanzania. Toyota Tanzania will invoice the Seller for all costs incurred up to the point of notification.
